(New articles will be posted on Mondays and Fridays.)

The Book of Joshua gives an astonishing account of dynamic and effective leadership.  From the loyalty of the servant Joshua to the royalty of great success.  This book is filled with powerful insights on leadership.  After a period of preparation under Moses, Joshua emerges to lead the Jewish people into their promised land.

In this part of our website, we will be examining the elements of this effective leadership that led a nation to a higher dimension.  We will be giving many relevant revelations on leadership that are taken from the life of Joshua.  You will find it illuminating, inspiring, and motivating.

Joshua 3 contains one of the most powerful truths that you can live by.  The people were preparing to move over the Jordan River but were commanded not to move until they saw the Ark of the Covenant.  Not only were they to see the Ark, but the next point was that the priest was bearing it.  They could not separate the Ark from the priest bearing it.  The Ark is a symbol of the presence of God and was the spiritual center of their lives.  We would be well advised to move only when the presence of God is with us.  They were commanded to go after it.  In this life, there are so many people that end up on dead end streets, battered, shattered, tattered, because they go after the wrong thing.  What you pursue, you may possess.  Jesus, the high priest, died and bore the presence of God and now has come into our lives.  Our ark is on the inside, and God’s voice inwardly, God’s leading inwardly, God’s witness inwardly will direct you.  Who will bear this presence?  Who will carry this witness?  Who will walk with this responsibility?  The presence and the power of God are to be carried in the heart, and you can’t separate the priest from the presence.  My hope is that there will be a people today to bear the presence, to touch other lives.

Joshua 3:2-3 gives insight into the ongoing march of faith the believer must have to see victory and the fulfillment of the promise in his life.  They were lodging at Jordan and are getting ready to Passover and after three days the officers went through the host (Verse 2).  I am sure that some issues had to be settled.  Are they prepared for battle?  Are they carrying any leftover trauma, fear, or unbelief from the wilderness?  Are they willing to pay the price for this glorious victory that is before them?  Is there any operation of the fleshly, carnal human mind that will dominate them, because in the battle that is right before them, faith and expectation must be the driving force.  The answer would come at the end of three days, which would be a symbol of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.  God the Father and all of heaven, upon viewing the finished work of Jesus would see that all questions have been answered, and the victory is given.  The host, headed by Jesus is now ready to besiege the power of the enemy, for after three days, He arose.  Death has no power, demons have no claim, and despair has been washed away in the precious blood of Jesus.  We must have the preparation before the power. There are great victories, provisions and answers before the body of Christ.  May we be certain that we have waited three days and allowed the Lord to send us through this process of death to flesh, burial of flesh and resurrection of the new man.
